The realization of the German Website including the SAP-connection will take place during the first mid-year in 2006, more international Websites of the company, as well as an Intranet will follow.

For the adjustment of the entire online communication with internal and external target audiences, BLANCO has chosen the Content Management Platform CONTENS. The evaluation procedure was very complex with a wide variety of competitors.

CONTENS convinced the committee of BLANCO in all kinds of aspects. Thanks to the very user-friendly interface of CONTENS, BLANCO-employees will be able to look after the Websites in a fast way and without complicated and time intensive trainings. The open development of CONTENS enables an easy way to integrate existing SAP- and database applications. Through the easy reusability of these applications, investments can be saved. The modularly architecture of CONTENS permits to upgrade and extend the Website to satisfy needs. Therefore the installization requirements in the near future can be satisfied. Another advantage of CONTENS is the ColdFusion technology that allows its users to administrate multilingual Websites paralelly for different countries and divisions. The relaunch of the Website will take place in July 2006, the realization of more international Websites, as well as the BLANCO Intranet will follow.
